Last summer (2011) I was in a bit of a pickle. I had recently moved into a new place where rent was low, but the power needed to get changed into my name. I had a bill from a previous place that I'd been trying to dispute, but they wouldn't turn on the power unless I totally capitulated and gave up on ever contesting the supposed debt I owed to PSNH. So I had to accept defeat on that point, but figured I could pay it off over time.
When Shire Silver was just getting started, we needed some capital. We put out the call for help, and a handful of people helped. Some of them have been repaid already, but for various reasons that don't matter we weren't able to repay them all right away. From this we still owe Brian over $2300 plus interest.
15 June 2018: Paid off in full with interest
So far life in Seabrook seems to be the slower pace and lowered level of interruptions that I've been needing. Yesterday I was able to concentrate for several hours on getting that website transitioned to a live state - even with a bunch of things that went wrong. I was able to get them straightened out and the client is pleased.
Its been a while since I wrote anything for this blog. Its about time I tried getting in the habit of more frequent postings. Today's post will be a general health update.
The Good News
I recently got entered into the VA health care system, and have been checking things out. I have full coverage (but no dental) so I can afford it.
