I'm slowly working on updating the site. Things might be a bit goofy for a little while.

Otis likes children

Video:

Otis and I attended the CNHT picnic this last weekend. There were quite a few people and several children. Luckily, the puppies in attendance captured most of his attention.

OK, he hasn't actually eaten one yet, but he's trying!

Of course, Ron Paul earned most of the votes in the straw poll. Mike Huckabee did show up though, and Duncan Hunter phoned in a speech.

I'm a bird-dogger now.

Video:

Today I met my third official Presidential candidate, Bill Richardson. He came to a small gathering (just under 40 people) at the library in Candia.

We recorded him on videotape answering questions by Matt Simon of NH Common Sense and Seth Cohn for Rock the Debates.

Otis can swim!

Video:

I took Kevin's boat out for a bit this morning. I got a few pictures on my phone, but was reluctant to take it along with Otis in the boat.

First Produce

Video:
First Radishes: These are the very first radishes that came out of my garden.

The first radishes from my garden were pretty good. Click on the pic for the larger version. I put the stick of butter there for easy size comparison.

Puppy Non Grata

Video:

Otis has been a bad boy lately.

The other day I had trustee training. When I came home there was a note from the animal control officer. After playing phone tag a bit I got the story. Apparently Otis dug his way out of the kennel and was playing in traffic on the highway (thankfully in the 35 MPH zone). The good folks at the local convenience store called the cops on him. So I had to spend an hour hauling large rocks to shore up the bottom of the fence.

Great Ron Paul ad

Video:
The revolution will not be televised, it will be YouTubed! In other news, I have created an account on Facebook. (I had to in order to get developer access for web work)

More on the revolution

Video:
Good to see Bob Kingsbury as the first person talked to. He was in Patton's army in WWII. I didn't know he was a Lt. Col. I did know he's a Libertarian candidate here in NH.

I recognized Bob, Hunter, Jane, and one other guy; but most of the people there I haven't met before. Its not just the Free Staters!

The video is 16+ minutes.

Big Debate

Video:
I went to the Republican debate site at St. Anselm's college yesterday. I held a Ron Paul sign and was interviewed 4 times! There was well over 100, probably closer to 200, Ron Paul supporters there - more than for any other candidate. When they would start chanting, we would chant over them. Eventually they gave up. The best chant we had (IMHO) was "We're not just the Internet". :-)

Paul's Popular Shirts

Video:
The other day as I was getting my mail from the post office, I ran into one of my state representatives (who is also a town selectman). He said "I like your shirt", reminding me that I was wearing a "Who is Ron Paul?" t-shirt. While we were chit-chatting, he also favorably noticed my Heartland Institute license plate holder.

Spanish Rice

Decent enough variation on a classic.
