Otis and I attended the CNHT picnic this last weekend. There were quite a few people and several children. Luckily, the puppies in attendance captured most of his attention.
OK, he hasn't actually eaten one yet, but he's trying!
Of course, Ron Paul earned most of the votes in the straw poll. Mike Huckabee did show up though, and Duncan Hunter phoned in a speech.
Today I met my third official Presidential candidate, Bill Richardson. He came to a small gathering (just under 40 people) at the library in Candia.
We recorded him on videotape answering questions by Matt Simon of NH Common Sense and Seth Cohn for Rock the Debates.
I took Kevin's boat out for a bit this morning. I got a few pictures on my phone, but was reluctant to take it along with Otis in the boat.
The first radishes from my garden were pretty good. Click on the pic for the larger version. I put the stick of butter there for easy size comparison.
Otis has been a bad boy lately.
The other day I had trustee training. When I came home there was a note from the animal control officer. After playing phone tag a bit I got the story. Apparently Otis dug his way out of the kennel and was playing in traffic on the highway (thankfully in the 35 MPH zone). The good folks at the local convenience store called the cops on him. So I had to spend an hour hauling large rocks to shore up the bottom of the fence.
